Thomas Sign & Awning in Clearwater, Florida is looking for an Industrial Painter to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing or auto painting field.

Summary of Position

• Work in a Paint Booth using enamel, polyurethane paints/stains
• Must be able to mix/match colors, as well as mask and tape area to be coated
• Use spray guns to coat material with paint, enamel, stain and/or polyurethane
• Must have a good understanding of the safety required for storage of paints/chemicals
• Well organized with the ability to maintain a clean work area
• Responsible for preventative maintenance for all paint related equipment and booth
• Good fabrication skills are a plus\
• Understanding of all equipment related to manufacturing such as power saws, routers, nail guns, hand tools, measuring tools
• Must be able to prioritize multiple projects/schedules and have strong desire to produce high quality products, on time and in an efficient manner
• Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to recognize and escalate problems

Prefer 3-5 years experience painting metal, acrylic and other surfaces with high quality results.  Sign and display industry experience is a plus.

1st and 2nd Shift

High School or equivalent required.
