Regional Rollout of Interior & Exterior Signage

The Challenge

Chewy partnered with Thomas Sign to support its regional expansion through a multi-site signage program. The project required coordination across multiple locations, each with different permitting requirements, landlord restrictions, site conditions, and construction schedules.

Thomas Sign was responsible for fabrication and installation of interior and exterior signage packages, permitting, site surveys, vendor coordination, approvals, and field management.

Our Solution

Thomas Sign worked directly with Chewy’s creative team and general contractors to maintain consistent brand standards across locations while accommodating different site conditions.

Our team completed site surveys and permitting at 11 locations and coordinated municipal and landlord requirements. Survey and installation documentation was uploaded to the TSA Portal within 24 hours, while our engineering team developed mounting and fabrication solutions for the architectural requirements of individual locations.

The Results

The program began as a four-site pilot and expanded to 18 full-service locations, along with four additional manufacture-and-ship-only projects.

Most installations were completed within one to two weeks of their original target dates despite construction-related delays. All work was completed before site turnover while remaining within the established budget and scope.
